Our Creative Process
We do not simply begin writing and hope for the best. We build the season together before the first chapter is published.
This gives the series structure, consistency, and momentum while giving May full confidence in the direction of the story.
Step One — Brainstorm
We begin by discussing ideas: characters, settings, fantasies, emotional themes, locations, relationships, visual style, and boundaries. Nothing is final at this stage.
Step Two — Build the Season
Together we outline the full first season before writing Chapter One. We define the major story beats, surprises, emotional arc, and cliffhangers.
Step Three — Approve the Direction
May reviews the overall concept before writing begins. She can suggest changes, add ideas, remove anything she dislikes, and make sure the character feels authentic to her.
Step Four — Produce and Publish
Once the direction is approved, each chapter is written, edited, designed, formatted, published, and promoted on a regular schedule.
